I've been taking pictures for a few years now. I mostly shoot freinds and family but do mix it up with other subjects every so often. More recently I've got into taking photos my iPhone - I find it a very different experience than that of using a serious SLR. With a cameraphone you don't have to be overly concerned with image quality or sharpness and all the other crap that can get in the way or distract you and just take interesting shots in interesting situations. I find that I often end up with shots that I'd never take with an SLR and there's plenty of apps to post process in a variety of ways so you can be as creative as you like.

I don't think I have a particular style when it comes to photography. With the phone though I do tend to take pictures of the mundane & the usual and try to make them into something more interesting using a variety of visual styles.
